Odd Bunch is a subscription box that helps you save money on produce, and allows you to become part of the movement against avoidable food waste. Almost 60% of all food produced is wasted in Canada and because grocery stores have such strict cosmetic standards it means that anything that looks or feels a little different is rejected right away. Odd Bunch started as a response to food waste and they accept misshapen, scarred, and asymetrical produce that is still good to eat. They work with farms and distributors to take such produce off their hands, compensate them fairly, and deliver it all to your door on a weekly basis.

“How to make stress your friend” is a TED Talk by psychologist Kelly McGonigal who states that we all need stress in order to experience the things we want most in life — health, happiness, love and growth. While stress has been made into a public health enemy, new research suggests that stress may only be bad for you if you believe that it’s bad for you. McGonigal urges us to see stress as positive, and to reach out to others to help reduce stress. She is convinced that when you choose to see the upside of stress, you increase your resilience, add meaning to your life, and make more close connections with others.
