Ree Drummond’s recipe for Speedy Dumpling Soup is as quick as the name suggests and full of flavour. It’s a hearty soup with substance and heft from the addition of the frozen dumplings and store-bought broccoli slaw. The broth is delicate and flavourful and is even more delicious the next day (assuming you have any leftover to go into the fridge!). And it’s versatile – swap out the broccoli slaw for a cabbage mix or just toss in any veggies that are getting a little long in the tooth in your fridge.

Playing for Change is a multimedia music project founded in 2002. It brings together musicians from around the globe with the mission to connect the world through music. In 2007, the Playing for Change Foundation was created. It’s a non-profit organization that builds music and art schools for children around the world. Playing for Change collaborations introduce you to street musicians and sounds from around the world, and remind you of the common humanity we share.

The book offers a number of excellent practical tools and tips for working through the stress cycle. Emily and Amelia Nagoski draw on a combination of cultural references, stories, and anecdotes to help make the concepts in their book both accessible and meaningful.

Libby links to your library card and gives you access to thousands of audiobook and e-book titles on your phone or tablet for free. Or check out similar apps like Hoopla Digital or Flipster – these apps can give you a robust library catalogue at your fingertips, and could help to save you money at the bookstore.
