We all need nourishment of one sort or another to thrive. With that in mind, check out this month’s recommended ways to feed the mind, body, and soul.

This recipe for Whipped Feta with Honey Dip from Stacey at Southern Discourse is amazing. It’s got all the bases covered – sweet, salty, creamy, with some crunch from the pistachio topper. It’s perfect paired with pita bread or whole grain crackers, and makes a great appetizer. It also looks fancy but it’s a breeze to prepare, making it a slam-dunk for entertaining (or – let’s be serious – just a regular Tuesday night).

Body Stuff with Dr. Jen Gunter is a podcast from the TED Audio Collective designed to help you understand how your body works. Gunter corrects a lot of the misinformation that we’re fed about our health from advertisers, drug companies, and the media and debunks some of the myths that have embedded themselves into our collective consciousness. She provides useful, science-backed information in an accessible, engaging way.

The Way of Integrity by bestselling author, coach, and sociologist Martha Beck is a book about the importance of wholeness and authenticity. Beck argues that we’re born whole, but societal and cultural expectations fracture us over time, leading us to behave in ways that aren’t true to our authentic selves. The book provides actionable tips and strategies for returning to wholeness and alleviating our psychological suffering.

We’re loving Taste the Nation with Padma Lakshmi. In it, Lakshmi, who also hosts the culinary competition series Top Chef, looks at food through the lens of history and geography. The series travels around the US showcasing how immigrant and indigenous experiences shape and inform American cuisine and culture.
